WHAT'S NEW ON THE BOSS?
THE BOSS IS BACK ON TUNE IN RADIO
Thank you for your patience this weekend. In a move that wasn't announced until 10 AM this morning Pacific Time, one of our stream hosts, Radionomy, instructed all of their hosted stations to be removed from TuneIn Radio to drastically reduce the amount of listeners to their streaming services, to avoid large royalty payments. However, Boss Boss Radio was taken down as part of the sweep, even though we don't stream Radionomy through our TuneIn account. TuneIn finally saw their error and relisted us and we are now BACK on their mobile app. TuneIn is an important resource in internet radio, as the largest aggregator of internet radio stations on the planet, with the biggest audience. Thank you for your patience, we're happy to report The Boss is BACK!
WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST BOSS JOCKS: BILL WADE AND LARA SCOTT!
Boss Boss Radio is more than just the Greatest Boss Hits of all time, we're also the friends you know: The Boss Jocks. It's a time honored tradition of Top 40 radio stations to be hosted by entertainers that complement the music, and share with us their knowledge about the music. Our two newest Boss Jocks are no strangers to the radio business. Both are Los Angeles radio veterans, and one is a bona-fide Boss Jock from the 1960s here in Boss Angeles!
Bill Wade comes to The Boss having been one of the original Boss Jocks here in Boss Angeles in the 1960s and 1970s at 93 KHJ Radio! He's joined Boss Boss Radio to take over the late night position from 10pm till 2am weeknights!
Lara Scott is one of the busiest voices in town. From podcasts to hearing her voice on Bravo and VH-1 and even Air Force One (yes, that Air Force One) to her weekly International World Chart Show, and now her home here on Boss Boss Radio, there's not many places you can't hear Lara. Take a moment to say hi on social media or check out their links on our Boss Jocks page and give them both a Big Boss Welcome!
RADIO FOR THE BOSS GENERATION!
Remember when listening to the radio was fun? What happened in the last 50 years? Some really smart people made the radio a mainstay for a generation, a meeting place to hear those Boss hit songs, and those friends that we grew up with on the radio like dear old friends! Somewhere between niche programming and corporate takeovers, the lines of what was fun on the radio got blurred. In fact, the lines of where radio can be found are now blurred, thanks to technology! Boss Boss Radio is FUN RADIO, curated by some of the folks responsible for making the radio our friend growing up. After all, we're the Boss Generation, and we've still got something to say! Boss Boss Radio...Boss Hits...Boss Fun. Now that's Boss!

Get Your Boss Sticker!
This year, we're hoping to put Boss Boss Radio on the map! We're here on the internet for everyone to enjoy, free of charge and free of any subscriptions, for as long as you like (no throttling like other web-based music resources). But we need to tell the world about our little gem here. And there's where we all can lend a hand. Our Master Plan to dominate the world is simple: Tell everyone we know about Boss Boss Radio! We're working on some things to help with that message, including virtual and physical "swag" emblazoned with the Boss message. To start, we're giving away our vinyl window stickers. You need one! Just email us with your mailing address and we'll send you a sticker and some handy listener cards to pass out to your friends (while supplies last)!

Check us out, and leave us on. We know you'll love our mix of Boss hits and Boss fun, now this is Boss!

Take The Boss With You!
We're available on just about every mobile device imaginable: Tablets and Phones, Smart TVs, Game Consoles, Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku, Wi Fi Blu-Ray Players and more! You just need an app to play us on your favorite device. You can even listen to us in your car (instructions below).
There are many streaming apps available, many for free too. We prefer the TuneIn Radio app available for most devices. The free version of the app is very good, and the sound quality is amazing, while the stream itself is rather small in size to accommodate less buffering and smaller data usage.
Once you download and install the TuneIn Radio app, search for Boss Boss Radio (Oldies) from the Browse function. Once The Boss starts playing, you can save it as a "favorite" by clicking the heart icon. Once you save us as a favorite so the next time your start TuneIn on your phone or mobile device and you won't have to search for us again.
Getting the music out of your phone and into your car stereo.
There are several options, all of which will probably require a trip to the Radio Shack or electronics dept. at Target.
1) Auxiliary input on your stereo unit - Many units now have an Aux port that you plug a mini-plug into from your phone, you can get a mini-plug wire from most electronics stores.
2) FM Transmitter - If you don't have an Aux port, you can use a wireless FM transmitter, there are several on the market, some good, some just OK, ask a salesperson their opinion.
3) Cassette Transmitter - If you have a cassette deck in your car, you can purchase a cassette transmitter. These are still available at most electronic stores. TuneIn, plug in and Boss on!
4) Bluetooth-enabled Stereo units - If you have a current generation Bluetooth Stereo Unit in your car, you may be able to pair the audio output of your smartphone and listen wirelessly in your car.
